Since 2002, Casera and its staff have wholeheartedly supported the United Way of Winnipeg by holding annual fundraising campaigns.  We believe in building stronger neighbourhoods by supporting the people and organizations that live, work, and play in them.  One of the guiding principles of co-operatives around the world is a concern for the communities they conduct business in. As a financial cooperative, Casera has integrated this belief into its core values.  In other words, we foster leadership and enrichment by proudly supporting programs, events, and projects that enhance our neighbourhoods.

This year, our United Way Campaign kickoff date was October 27, 2020.  We encourage our members to join in our fundraising efforts!  100% of your donation stays right here in Winnipeg.  Donations $20 or more will be issued tax receipts.

Personal Financial Management Expand/Collapse

Please be advised that the Personal Financial Management (PFM) tool is being removed from Casera’s online banking platform and mobile app. Unfortunately, PFM was not a commonly used feature of online banking at Casera. Be assured that we are focused on introducing even better products that will make day-to-day banking easier.

With this phase-out, you will not be required to make any changes to your existing online banking or mobile app. However, any external accounts with other financial institutions and other assets and liabilities that you may have registered in online banking will no longer be there. This means that functionality, such as linking to external accounts, assets and liabilities, transaction categories, spending and trends analysis, and budgeting will no longer be available once PFM has been removed.

  • High Volume: $15 per month for 50 transactions; plus 5 Interac e-Transfers
  • Unlimited: $20 per month for unlimited transactions; plus unlimited Interac e-Transfers

Career & Young Adult package account now $8 per month for 25 transactions; plus 3 Interac e-Transfers

MEMBER CARD Debit Card Issues at Merchant Terminals Expand/Collapse

Some Casera members are experiencing issues with MEMBER CARD® debit cards at merchant locations. This is caused by software updates to retail point-of-sale machines, and the problem is being resolved at the store level. In the meantime, if you encounter issues with your debit card, consider splitting your transaction into two to allow for contactless transactions.

To encourage our loyal members to continue recruiting new members, we've launched SHARE & WIN; a new friend referral program that gives members even more reason to tell their friends and family about Casera.

SHARE & WIN is a way for members to show their loyalty to Casera and at the same share in the chance of winning money. After the current member fills out a SHARE & WIN form and the new member returns the completed form, both are entered into a quarterly draw for a chance to win $100 each.

The new member must meet some qualifying criteria — they must open an account and maintain at least one product, such as a chequing account, GIC, personal loan or mortgage. The SHARE & WIN referral also pays for their required $5 share.
